Idea of project
This project just came to be. I just started to mess around on Inventor and my idea started to appear. The only research that I did was look at the dimensions of what an iPhone 8 plus was, and build around that. Then I had to come up with an angle at which I wanted the phone leaning back at. I put that in my design and then my product became what it is now.

Summary
With making my phone holder the interesting thing was coming up with the idea. I started looking around on the internet to see what other people were making for a phone holder. I saw a couple things that intrigued me. I then just went on inventor and started messing around until I got something that I could work with. Using Inventor on this go around was much easier than the first time we used it. Everything just flowed better for me this time. My first draft of the holder was really big, because when I put it on the MakerBot Desktop software it looked huge. I went back to Inventor to change some dimensions to make it not so big. I think that helped a lot with how it turned out. I wanted it big because I wasn't positive if the holder would tip backwards or not with the phone in it. So when I got it printed and it held it perfectly I was thrilled. Working with Inventor and the 3D Printers were really fun and not very hard to use once you get the hang of it.
